Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Return Diplomatic Identity (ID) Card, the applicant has to approach Ministry of Foreign Affairs Link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete application are not accepted)
4. Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the respective officer.
7. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.

Eligibility

• The members of the Diplomatic Corps and International and Regional Organizations residing in the Ethiopia who intends to Return Diplomatic Identity (ID) Card are eligible to make this application.
