Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for Replacement of Investment Permit is available in Ethiopian Investment Commission contact link
2. Applicant should provide necessary details in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry all related documents which are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
5. Fee has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting.
7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the procedure will be completed within a month by visiting the office or via post.
   

Apply Online

1. Application form for replacement of an Investment Permit is available in the following portal link
2. If applicant is an existing user, they can login directly using their “Username” and “Password”.
3. If applicant is a new user, they have to register in the following portal link
4. For new registration applicant should enter all details that are requested in the registration form and then click on “Register” button.
5. Once after registration, applicant can login using their “Username” and “Password”.
6. Applicant has to choose the service type as “Renewal of Investment Permit”.
7. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
8. Applicant have to upload digital copies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
9. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
10. If all the above-mentioned procedures are followed properly, applicant can get renewal of their permit within a month.
