  1. Application for renewal of Work Residence Permit in Ethiopia is available in Ethiopian Investment Commission Contact link
  2. Applicant should make sure to enter all information in the application form.
  3. Applicant must carry necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  4. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of the documents that are required for the procedure to complete.
  5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting.
  6. Fee for renewal of Work Residence Permit is 500 Birr.
  7. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant can get renewal of their permit.
  8. The processing time for this procedure is 7-21 days.

  3. Applicant must follow all instructions that follows after submitting the renewal form.
  4. Applicant should upload digital copies of documents (if necessary) along with the renewal form that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Fee for this procedure can be paid online.
  6. If all procedures are followed properly, applicant can get renewal of their work residence permit within 7-21 days at the office or via post.
