Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application for renewal of Banking Business License is available in the National Bank of Ethiopia contact link
2. Applicant should provide all necessary information that is requested in the application form.
3. Applicant must carry all related documents which are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page (both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form.
5. Fee for this procedure is 50,000 Birr.
6. Fee has to be paid at the National Bank by bankers’ cheque.
7. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents along with the application form while submitting.
8. If all the above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, the procedure will be completed within 30 days by visiting the office.
