Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for renewal of Air Service License, the applicant has to approach the Ethiopian Civil Aviation Authority contact link
2. Applicant has to get the respective form and fill the form with the required details and attested with the applicant signature.
3. Make sure that you have all the documents that are listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant has to attach the required documents along with the application form.
5. Pay the application fee as per the authority request.
6. Submit the application form and required documents along with the payment receipt to the respective authority.
7. After the successful evaluation, the authority will renew the license within 120days.

• Air operators certificate
• Business plan (new applicant)
• Source funding (new applicant)

• Intends to continue with an air service whose license is due to expire

• Application fee is 500birr.

• The validity for this license is about 12 months.
