Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining a Public Service Vehicle (PSV) is available in the Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority location link
2. Applicant has to get the form from the respective office.
3. Applicant should fill-in all the necessary details in application form provided by the ministry.
4. Applicant should make sure to carry all the documents that are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page (Both photocopies and originals).
5. Submit the application form and required documents to the authorized officer in the centre.
6. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly, applicant can get their license within the stipulated period of time.

Eligibility

A person

• Must have the experience of four years of continuous driving prior to the application
• Above the age of twenty-four years (for drivers)
• Above the age of eighteen years (for conductor)
  

Fees

• Fee for application form is 50birr.
• Processing fee for PSV license is 625birr.
  

Validity

The PSV license is valid for 2years from the date of issue.
