Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Obtain Water Line Connection, the applicant has to visit the Addis Ababa Water and Sewerage Authority (AAWSA) link
2. The applicant has to get the application form from the office to get the water connection line.
3. The Front Desk Officer and other officers are always available to guide every applicant on how to fill the form correctly and register completed form.
4. Applicant has to attach the documents mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Submit the application form and documents to the respective officer.
6. Pay the fee as per the authority request, and submit the payment receipt with the documents.
7. The officers will also inspect all plumbing work done by the applicant before affecting any service.
8. Connection is given within one day once the pipe laying works is completed.
9. The whole process takes an average of 14 days to complete.

• Letter of collaboration if the property is rented from Rental Housing Agency or from Woreda or

Need for the Document

• Water it is necessary for our day-to-day activities in our home. Water service lines connect buried water mains to buildings to supply potable water, and sometimes to supply fire protection systems.

• Applicant must be aware of all rules and regulations for changing their officials in Ethiopia.
• Deposit refund shall be payable within three days after closing of account.
• The first bill will be given to the customer within one month from the date of connection.
