Procedure

Apply In Person

1. To Obtain Permit or License for Manufacturing Cotton, the applicant has to approach Ministry of Agriculture link or the applicant can approach Ethiopian Revenue and Customs Authority link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application are not accepted)
4. Make sure the applicant has all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form.
6. Submit the application form to the respective officer.
7. After submission, the authority will conduct an on-site inspection.
8. Upon successful completion of the inspection, the applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as per the authority request.
9. After payment was is done, the authority will issue the hardcopy of license within the stipulated period of time.
