Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for obtaining a Petroleum Road Transportation Business License in Ethiopia is available in the Ministry of Mines, Petroleum and Natural Gas, Ethiopia – - contact link
2. Applicant must provide all necessary information in the application form.
3. Applicant should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are needed for this procedure.
4. Documents that are needed for completing this procedure is listed under “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. Applicant must attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form before submitting.
6. There is no fee for this procedure.
7. If all above-mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the certificate will be issued within 30 days.
8. Applicant will be notified via SMS or E-mail regarding their certificate.
9. After receiving the notification, applicant can visit the office to get their certificate.
10. If there is no information regarding the certificate, applicant can visit the office to know status of their application.
