Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Suspend or Renewal of Registration with National Construction Authority in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Social Solidarity link
2. An application for the renewal of the registered construction firm with MWH should be submitted at least one month prior to the expiration of the current permit.
3. Application forms must be obtained from the respective office to proceed.
4. Applicants must fill out all the information in the application form and provide the documents listed in the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. The application form must be completed and submitted to the authority along with the necessary documents.
7. A contractor must provide evidence of the construction works contracts that they have completed before applying for renewal.
8. The Board may decide regarding the category in which a construction firm may be registered, other than the one applied for by the firm on renewal.
9. The Authority shall notify the contractor in writing of such decision within a few days to several weeks after receiving the renewal application Form.
10. On suspension - If a person/firm/contractor or applicant who is aggrieved by the decision of the Board as in sub-regulation 6(3) in relation to the category the Authority has recommended, such person may submit in writing a petition indicating the reasons of such grievance, sufficient to justify review of the assessment by Authority.
11. Generally, the processing time can range from a few days to several weeks.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Suspension or Renewal of Registration with the National Construction Authority in Egypt, Applicant must meet the following criteria:

• Applicant must be a legal entity and have a valid operating license from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
• Applicant must have a valid registration with the National Construction Authority (NCA).
• Applicant must have a valid tax clearance certificate from the tax authority.
• Applicant must have a valid liability insurance policy.
