Apply In-Person:

  1. To Replace Lost or Damaged Community Based Organization Registration Certificate (CBO) in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Social Solidarity link
  2. An applicant should start by first visiting a police station to report the loss or damage of the certificate of registration.
  3. After reporting the loss or damage, the applicant is also required to acquire police abstract from the police authorities which is a prerequisite to making the application.
  4. An applicant is also to swear an affidavit of the circumstances surrounding the loss/ damage of the certificate.
  5. An applicant is to attach the police abstract and affidavit with the application for replacement.
  6. The minutes of the meeting seeking replacement of the lost damaged certificate, this should be endorsed by at least 2/3 of the members.
  7. Applicants visit the authority and the applicant must obtain the application form.
  8. Applicants must fill all the information in the application form.
  9. Gather the required documents and information that the applicant needs to submit a replacement registration certificate application. This may include the original registration certificate, a copy of the registration form and any other supplemental documentation they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
  10. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  11. Submit the required documents, along with the applicant application, to the local government office.
  12. Once the new registration certificate has been issued, pick up the certificate from the local government office.
  13. It can take from three to six weeks to get a renewal decision.

  • Contact your local government office in Egypt to inquire about the process for replacing your lost or damaged Community Based Organization (CBO) registration certificate.
