Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Prototype Constitution in person, the applicant has to first contact the Ministry of Manpower and Immigration or Ministry of Social Solidarity. Contact link
2. Write letter of request to the executive director of the board.
3. Fill in all application documents and submit the required documents to the NGO Board offices or other related offices.
4. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
5. Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant form while submitting it at the office.
6. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
7. Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the respective office for verification and processing.
8. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their application.
9. After getting the notification from concerned authorities, applicant can visit the office to collect their permit.
10. If there is no information regarding the application, then, the applicant can visit the office to know status of the application.
11. The Processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

Required Documents

• Certified copy of the applicant’s Passport
• One (1) passport size photo(in white or grey background)
• Copy of the advertisement done in at least one National Circulation Daily Newspaper in Egypt of the required position
• Provide a list of all employees in the organization entailing their names, nationality, job titles, email address and mobile contacts.
• Where any document is made in a language other than English a copy of the translation into English language must be attached.
• Criminal clearances certificate an equivalent of a certificate of good conduct in Egypt from the applicant’s Country of origin for first time applications and has to be certified by any registered local lawyer and criminal clearance certificate from CID Egypt for all renewals.

Eligibility

• Everybody is eligible to obtain the prototype constitution.

Fees

• A fee of EGP 300 is charged for a CD containing a soft copy available at the Non-Governmental Organizations Co-ordination Board offices.

Validity

• The validity of the work endorsement is one year.

• Wait for approval and collect the work permit after 30 days.
