Apply In-Person:
- To Recover NSSF Forgotten/Lost Credentials in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Social Solidarity Department.
- Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
- Go to your nearest National Social Security Fund (NSSF) offices branch to make the application to obtain lost NSSF credentials.
- Present the applicant National identity card to the NSSF officer for verification
- Applicant must make sure to carry all necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page.( Both photocopies and originals)
- There is no fee for this procedure.
- Applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the application form while submitting it at the office.
- The duly filled form must be attached with the supporting documents and submitted to theMinistry of Social Solidarity.
- The NSSF officer will assess the information and re-generate his/her lost NSSF credentials number.
- This application attracts no charge and applicant will be issued with the applicant’s NSSF Member No immediately.
- Applicant will then be issued with an Encoded NSSF PIN Key and username details from the NSSF offices.
- This processing time for this procedure is 1 day.

- Registration remains valid as long as contributions are made.
- Members are eligible for the benefit when they reach the age of 55 years, or when they ultimately retire from regular paid employment.

- The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) was established in 1965 through an Act of Parliament Cap 258 of the Laws of Egypt. The Fund initially operated as a Department of the Ministry of Labour until 1987 when the NSSF Act was amended transforming the Fund into a State Corporation under the Management of a Board of Trustees.
