Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get License or Permit for Tobacco and Substitution, the applicant has to approach the Egypt Ministry of Health Contact link
2. Information related to the respective office and License authority can be obtained from the “Office locations and contacts” section of this page.
3. Application forms should be obtained from the respective office.
4. Applicant should read carefully in the application form after all details must be filled in the application form.
5. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
6. Also, make sure that the applicant has all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
7. Please refer to the fee details in the “Fees” section of this page.
8. Submit the completed form in two copies along with the supporting documents to the authority.
9. Pay the processing fees, upon which the applicant will be issued a receipt.
10. An authority will receive the application and forward it to the relevant department's authority for assessment and approval.
11. The authority department will evaluate the application and if they are satisfied that all the standard requirements for the registration are meet, they will approve it for registration and processing.
12. Once the product has been registered by the register, the applicant will be issued a certificate of registration valid for one year.
