Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get License or Permit for Soaps, Agents, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Trade and Industry contact link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the respective officer.
3. The applicant has to fill in all necessary details in the application form (Incomplete application are not accepted).
4. Refer to the “Required Documents” section of this procedure to learn more about the required documents.
5. A fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority's request.
6. Attach all the required documents with the application letter, and then submit it at the any nearest office.
7. After accepting the application, officials will advise the amount to be remitted as per the mode (treasury challan or as acceptable).
8. Applicant after remitting the mentioned amount, should provide the same to the department authority for processing.
9. Applicant will get receipt for the remitted fees. Please keep the receipt and acknowledgement safe for future reference.
10. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
11. Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the permit.
12. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
13. The Processing time of this procedure takes up to 30-45 days.
