Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Get License or Permit for 36-Gunpowder and Explosives, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Interior affairs Location link
2. The applicant has to enter all the necessary details in the application form.
3. Make sure that the applicant has to attach all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
4. The applicant has to attach the photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting.
5. Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
6. Once the application fee is processed, the Ministry of Interior will enter the application information into its database and commence a full review of the application.
7. As required by law, the Ministry of Interior will then conduct an electronic background check on all the responsible Persons that the applicant have identified on their application.
8. Then the Ministry of Interior will then send the applications to the nearest Ministry of Interior office having responsibility for the area in which the business is located.
9. The field office supervisor will issue an assignment to an Industry Operations Investigator (IOI) who will conduct an in-person interview with the applicant.
10. After inspection, assuming that all background checks have been completed and his/her business address and proposed business operations are in compliance with state and local law, the authority will complete the application processing and issue the license.
11. When the document is ready to be collected, the applicant will receive a formal notification from the office and the applicant can collect it by any applicable means.
12. The processing time will take approximately 60 days from the receipt of a properly completed application.
