Procedure

Apply In Person:

1. To Get Approval Artificial Food Color (License) in person, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Trade and Industry or Ministry of Health in Egypt Contact link
2. Applicant must go to the authority in Egypt and obtain the application form.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. Applicants are required to enclose five (5) copies of their application, i.e., certified copies of the relevant supporting documents, in addition to the duly completed application forms in all respect and accompanied by a comprehensive business plan as explained below under the “Required Documents” section of this page, in Authority, and should be submitted to the office either in person or via post. Any omission of these documents will render the application process incomplete.
5. Upon receipt of the application file, the authority receiving officer will verify, if all the necessary information and documentation has been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before registering the application file for assessment and consideration by the authority Registration and certificate Board.
6. Applicants will be required to pay the application fee as mentioned under the “Fees” section of this page and obtain an acknowledgment slip as proof of submission of the application.
7. The application will be processed as per the information and documentation provided, that is why applicants are advised to provide sufficient information to enable the authority to evaluate the business/company and make its decision.
8. Notice of the decision (Approval, Deferral, or Rejection) for the application will be communicated to the client as pre preferable mode (in writing /phone/email/ in-person).
9. The certificate will be granted if the certificate board is satisfied with the applicant’s ability to deliver on its proposed business plan.
10. If approved, the applicant will be required to produce a proof of identity document and the acknowledgment slip, while collecting the certificate, at the authority head office where the application was lodged.
11. The Amateur Radio certificate shall be subject to such terms and conditions as the authority Licensing board deems fit to impose in each case, and such terms and conditions or requirements shall be endorsed on the certificate.
12. Generally, the processing time for this procedure is 60 working days.
