Apply Online

  1. To Renew Differently Abled Card (Disabled Identity, UDID), the applicant has to make the application online via the following link link
  2. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
  3. Select the disability type enter the captcha code and then click the “SUBMIT” button.
  4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
  5. Review the application and click “Submit”.
  6. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
  7. All applications are processed within a reasonable time, having regard to the particular circumstances of each application, including the completeness of information and documents submitted to the authority by the applicant.
  8. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the Bank Account.
  9. The fee for this Renewal Differently Abled Card (Disabled Identity, UDID) is free of cost.
  10. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.



Apply Online (Through Digi Locker Portal)

  1. To Download or View Differently Abled Card, the applicant can make their application online via the Digi locker portal by using the following link link
  2. If the applicant is an existing user, the applicant must click “Sign In” and log in either by mobile number or by username and 6-digit security pin.
  3. If the applicant is a new user, click sign up and register an account then log in.
  4. Go to the "Get more issued documents" option and select the department.
  5. Click on the "Disability Card" tab and enter the UDID card number.
  6. After submitting the details, click on the “Get Document” option available on the page.
  7. The certificate is ready to download in PDF form.
  8. There is no fee for downloading or viewing a Differently Abled Card.
  9. The entire processing time is completed within minutes.



Apply Through CSC

  1. To Renew Differently Abled Card (Disabled Identity, UDID), the applicant has to approach the respective “CSC” centre link

NOTE: The applicant has to select state, district, and block name from the drop-down menu, or the applicant has to click on their respective district to find nearby centres.

  1. Please visit the centre and consult with the centre operator for your requirement.
  2. If the operator issues an application form, then collect it and pay the requisite fee. Please complete the application form.
  3. Now, submit the completed application along with the required documents as per the “Required Documents” section of this page. It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
  4. The operator will process the application online. On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as an acknowledgment. The applicant will also get a transaction number as a text message on their registered mobile number.
  5. Applicant has to make necessary payment as centre operator quotes and don’t forget to take the receipt.
  6. The fee for this procedure is free of cost.
  7. This application will be forwarded to the respective department for further processing.
  8. ”SMS” triggered update on application status will be sent to the applicant’s mobile. Please keep track of the notification.
  9. The submitted application will be processed by the department. A designated authority (supply officer) will verify the submitted documents and inspect the area of the applicant to clarify the applicant’s details.
  10. Once everything is approved the incentive amount under this scheme will be disbursed directly into the student’s Bank Account.
  11. The status, viz. Approval or Rejection will be conveyed to the applicant through an “SMS” or applicable norms.
  12. This entire process can be completed within 15 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

  • Age Proof - For age, the birth certificate or school certificate may be relied on. In their absence ration card and EPIC may be considered. If there is no valid document, any Medical Officer of any government hospital may be authorized to issue the age certificate.
  • Disability certificate: - A disability certificate (80% and more) issued from the Chief Medical Officer, Community Health Centre, or Primary Health Centre will be accepted.
