Apply Online through Digilocker

  1. User shall use the following Link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “Login / Register” button provided on the top right corner of the screen to reach the “Login or Create Account” page.
  3. Enter your registered mobile number at the prompts as applicable and click on the “Continue” button to reach the “Verify OTP” screen.
  4. Please enter the OTP at the prompt as appropriate to complete the OTP authentication process and click on the “Verify” button.
  5. On successful verification, the dashboard page will be provided.
  6. The page will display documents already issued under the “Your issued documents” section.
  7. Please select the Birth Certificate document type if issued already and it is listed to reach the corresponding page.
  8. Please follow the page prompts as appropriate and follow the page requisite to download the birth certificate.
  9. If not displayed under the “Your issued documents” section, then click on the “Drive” option to reach the drive page with used space information.
  10. If the citizen already saved his or her document in the drive, please browse through the page for the document type to download.
  11. If not saved in Disk, then click on the “Search” or “Search Documents” option or enter the certificate type in the “Search for documents” prompt and click on the search icon.
  12. In the resulting page, please look for the “States” section and click your respective state as applicable.
  13. In the given state centric page, please click on the certificate type as applicable.
  14. The resulting page will display the certificate or the system will prompt the user to enter required details.
  15. Please follow the page prompts as appropriate and follow the page requisite to download the certificate.



Apply Online through Sugam portal

  1. To Download or View Birth Certificate, the applicant has to make an online process through the following : link
  2. In the given page, please click on the “Login / Registration” button provided on the top right corner of the screen to reach the “Login or Create Account” page.
  3. If you are an registered user of this portal, enter login credentials and login Or click on "Register Here" option below login option to register yourself and then login.
  4. After logging in look for service birth certificate under "CRSR (Other Services) Services" and click on it move to more options.
  5. Please choose option appropriately to proceed further and follow prompts.



Apply through CSC:

  1. To Download or View Birth Certificate for the existing birth certificate registration, the applicant has to approach the nearest CSC : Link
    NOTE:To check the contact details of the CSC centre, please select the District and Block.
  2. The applicant has to visit the nearest centre.
  3. The applicant has to inform all the details to the respective operator.
  4. The operator will enter the details in the portal with the given details.
  5. The applicant will get the downloaded certificate from the operator.
  6. Please pay as per applicable service charges if any.
  7. The processing time for this procedure is immediate.
