Applying process in Cayman Islands for citizen and non citizens.
Apply Online
- To Obtain a Police Clearance Certificate, the applicant has to make an application online via – link
- Read all the instructions for this procedure and click “I’m not a robot” and then click “Start application”.
- Enter the personal details in the application form and click the “Next” button.
- Select the application type from the page.
- Also, upload all the necessary documents which are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page and click the “Next” button.
- Pay the prescribed amount fee in online mode.
- Once completed click the “Submit” button.
- The concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
- An acknowledgment receipt will be provided through email.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS.
- The applicant has to visit the office to complete the further process.
- This entire process can be completed within 15-20 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
Apply In-Person
- Police Clearance Certificate can be applied at local police authority.

- Go to the respective office. Don’t forget to take the required copy of documents along with originals to the office.
- Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant should pay for any charges if required as advised.
- This application will be processed by respective department.
- The certificate can be collected from the office where applicant applied in-person or will be delivered through mail upon notification or issued as per norms.

- Citizens can appoint their representative to apply on their behalf with the information and document .

- The representative should be entrusted with the notarized letter.
- Representative will go to the respective office. They should not forget to take the required copy of documents.
- Please follow as per authorities guidelines and submit the completed application along with documents. Applicant #should pay for any charges if required as advised. Applicant filled application form should be used.
- This application will be processed by respective department.
- The certificate can be collected from the office by the original applicant or issued as per norms.

- Applicant has to apply with the “Criminal Records Office” to obtain the PCC through mail(post).
- Please attach the completed application, required document and fee paid details along with finger prints obtained from local authorized agent or authorities.

EligibilityEdit
- Applicant with valid passport and a valid address proof.
- Age: 17 years and above. In case of minors, the application must be submitted by the parent exercising parental authority, if the minor has not turned 17 years.
- The current address of the applicant must be same as in the passport and other supporting documents.
- Applicants who are in need of residential status, employment or long term visa or for immigration to a foreign nation.
FeesEdit
- The prescribed fee for each clearance is $25.00 CI dollars per person
- If paying in US dollars it is $31.25 cash
- If paying by cheque the amount is $30.50 (all cheques should be made payable to Cayman Islands Government. )
- Fee/charge varies for case to case. Updated fee requirement will be provided by respective authorities while applying.
