Apply In Person

1. To Obtain Inoculant, Biofertilizer and Remineralizer Product Registration Certificate, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock link
2. Conduct thorough testing of the applicant’s inoculant, biofertilizer, or remineralizer product according to the guidelines and technical regulations specified by MAPA. The testing should demonstrate the product's efficacy, safety, and compliance with Brazilian standards.
3. Prepare a comprehensive technical dossier containing detailed information about your product.
4. This dossier should include data on the product's composition, manufacturing process, quality control, efficacy, and safety. It should also comply with the specific requirements outlined by MAPA.
5. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
6. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)

8. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
9. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
10. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
11. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
12. Then the application will be processed further.
13. They will assess the product's compliance with Brazilian regulations, its efficacy, and safety for agricultural use.
14. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
15. MAPA may conduct an on-site inspection of your manufacturing facilities to verify that they meet the required standards and comply with good manufacturing practices.
16. If the applicant’s product meets all the necessary requirements, MAPA will grant the product registration certificate. This certificate allows the applicant to legally sell and distribute his/her inoculant, biofertilizer, or remineralizer in Brazil.
17. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
