Need for the DocumentEdit

  • Fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG)-18 radiopharmaceutical is a type of radioactive tracer that is used in positron emission tomography (PET) scans. PET scans are a type of medical imaging that can be used to diagnose and monitor a variety of diseases, including cancer, heart disease, and Alzheimer's disease.

Information which might helpEdit

  • FDG-18 is a radioactive form of glucose, which is a sugar that is used by cells for energy. When FDG-18 is injected into the body, it is taken up by cells that are using glucose for energy. Cancer cells typically use glucose at a higher rate than healthy cells, so FDG-18 can be used to identify cancer cells.

Other uses of the Document/CertificateEdit

Please explain what are other uses for obtaining this document/certificate.

e.g. Birth Certificate can be used as proof of identity.
