Apply In Person

1. To Obtain Certificate of Authorization for Amateur Fishing Competition, the applicant has to approach the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock link
2. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer or the applicant has to write a complaint letter A4 sheet.
3. The applicant has to fill in all the necessary details in the application form. (Incomplete applications are not accepted)
4. Make sure that the applicant has attached all the necessary documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The applicant has to attach photocopies of the required documents along with the application form while submitting it.
6. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
7. Submit all the documents with the completed form to the concerned officer.
8. After receiving the application, the concerned authority will check the submitted application and document set. If all are in place, the application will be accepted.
9. Then the application will be processed further.
10. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
11. If the application is approved, the applicant will receive a Certificate of Authorization that allows to hold the amateur fishing competition.
12. The applicant will need to display this certificate prominently during the competition to demonstrate that he/she is in compliance with Brazilian environmental regulations.
13. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

• A copy of the organizer's ID card or passport.
• Proof of payment of the environmental fee, which is calculated based on the number of participants and the duration of the competition.
• A statement declaring that the organizer will be responsible for ensuring that the competition complies with all environmental regulations and that any damage caused will be remedied.
• If the competition will take place on private property, a written authorization from the property owner or legal representative allowing the competition to take place.
