  2. In Brazil, the National Gemini Office (NGO) is responsible for coordinating the country's participation in the Gemini Observatory. Get in touch with the NGO to express your interest in using the facility and discuss the potential collaboration.

  4. An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.

  9. The applicant has to pay the prescribed fee as requested by the authority.
  10. Then the application will be processed further.
  11. Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
  12. If your proposal is successful, the NGO will work with the Gemini Observatory to allocate the observing time for your project.
  13. In some cases, formal collaboration agreements may be required between your institution and the participating institutions involved in the Gemini Observatory.
  14. This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.
