Procedure

How to apply:

1. You should contact the Ministry of Agriculture Department of Veterinary Services headquarters or veterinary office near you for more information on how to file the application with the department
2. Accurately fill in the application form, which can be obtained from the offices mentioned in (1) or click the link below to download .FORMS
3. Submit the completed form along with the relevant supporting document (listed below) to the Imports and Exports Permits Office (contact details listed below).
4. The application form will be vetted in line with animal health regulations/conditions and once conditions are met, an import permit will be issued to you within one to seven days depending on the nature of the request.

Required Documents

• Import permit of importing country.
• Written Authority letter from Animal Production Department to import processed chicken products, processed pork products, live poultry or live pigs.
