Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The request for Identification of Local Flora and Fauna shall be made to the Department of National Museum and Monuments office, which is under the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism. Ministry Contact details
2. Applicants should bring a sample of the item to be identified to the Department of National Museum and Monuments office for analysis and identification.
3. The sample will be labelled and registered, the customer will be issued with an acknowledgment letter/ reference number as proof of submission of the sample.
4. Upon identification of the sample which is within 7 working days, the customer is notified of the results by telephone, post, e-mail or they may come in person to collect the result against the acknowledgment slip/reference number.
