How to Apply
Apply In-Person
- Applicant should visit the ministry of agriculture headquarter office or the nearest District Animal Production Offices, Department of Animal Production {DPA} {see address details below}.
- Collect the LIMID 6 – Poultry Abattoir Application Form from the DPA service desk or use this link to download,Link
- Submit the completed form,along with relevant supporting documents {as listed below} to DPA attending officer, who will then forward the application file to the Livestock Management and Infrastructure Development {LIMID} office for assessment and processing.
- The LIMID officer shallthen verify that all the necessary information and documents have been provided and that the applications comply with the selection criteria before they are submitted to the Committees (district and headquarters) for evaluation.
- If approved, you will be registered as a beneficiary of the LIMID support programme and notified of the outcome by letter, phone or in person and given further instruction on how to access the financial support.
Required DocumentsEdit
- Certified copy of valid National Identity Card (Omang) of the members.
- A copy of an approved constitution/bye-laws.
- A certified copy of the business plan.
- Quotations for the items required.
- A certified copy of registration certificate from Commissioner of Agriculture Cooperatives/Registrar of Societies
- List of cooperative members (including their signature and contacts details)
- List of Cooperative Board members
- A certified copy of Land Board certificate for the business plot

EligibilityEdit
To be eligible applicant should meet the following criteria;
- Citizens eighteen (18) years and above.
- Small scale poultry (broiler) producers.
- A cooperative which comprises a minimum of fifteen (15) members
