Bihar - Link Covid-19 (Corona) Vaccination Certificate to Passport

Apply Online:
- Login to your account on the official CoWIN website by using your Id and password or OTP. Here is the link to the CoWIN portal Website Link.
- Once you are logged in, click on the “Raise Issue” button in the “Account Details” section.
- You will see three options — “Certificate Correction”; “Merge Multiple Dose #1 Provisional Certificates” and “Add Passport Details”.
- Click on “Add Passport Details”.
- You will be redirected to a page where you can select the name of the member whose passport details you would like to add.
- Select the desired member’s name from the drop down menu and enter their passport number in the “Enter Beneficiary’s Passport Number” section.
- Make sure that you enter the correct passport number, as you will only be allowed to change the certificate photo ID details once.
- Once you have double checked the passport number to make sure it is correct, tick the box that says “I declare that this passport belongs to the beneficiary. The name of the passport holder is the same as mentioned on the vaccine certificate.”
- After this, click on the “Submit Request” button.
- You will receive a message on the registered mobile number confirming that your request has been submitted.
- After processing (which is likely to take only a few seconds), you will receive another message stating that your request has been “Updated Successfully”.
- Now go back to the “Account Details” page and click on the “Certificate” button next to the name of the account to which you have added the passport details.
- You will be able to download and print your new vaccine certificate which is linked to your passport.
- Note: If you are yet to register on CoWIN and plan to travel soon, you can choose your passport as your photo ID proof while registering yourself to simplify the process.

Apply through Mobile APP:
- Download the CoWin app: download link.
- The applicant will have to fill in the details like the phone number, through which the applicant has registered already for the Covid-19 vaccination.
- Then an OTP will be sent on that number.
- And then click on the “Verify and Proceed” button.
- Now, the next page will appear on the screen.
- Now, on the next page, the applicant will have to click on the “Raise an Issue” button.
- Now, after clicking, the applicant has to select the given option of “Passport”.
- After that, the new page will appear where you will see an option for “What is the Issue?”. Then select the passport option from there only.
- After that, correctly fill in all the details.
- Finally, click on the continue and submit the details.
Apply through Centres:
- To apply through centres, the applicant has to visit the respective “CSC” centre. Please tap on the following link to locate the centre according to the respective district: link.
- Make sure to have the documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- It is advised to take the documents in original to the kiosk for scanning purposes.
- The operator will process the application online.
- On successful submission, the applicant will receive an application number as acknowledgement.
- If approved, the certificate can be downloaded.
