Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The applicant has to submit a detection form to the Department of the Bahamas National Geographic Information System (BNGIS) Centre.
2. Visit the following link for Contact Details Link.
3. The applicant can download the form from the following Form Link.
4. Complete the form with all details.
5. After in filling all the details submit the detection form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Bahamas Spatial Data Infrastructure (BSDI) Library User, who will complete and returns Form to the BNGIS Centre.
6. If the reported problem is confirmed, the BNGIS Centre sends a standard error detection alert to the data custodian in charge of taking corrective action.
7. The Data Custodian publishes rectified geographic data in the BSDI Library.
8. All agencies are informed that the geographical data has been rectified and is now available in the BSDI Library.
