Bahamas - Replace a Lost or Damaged Certificate of Registration

Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. The Applicant has to submit a Letter to the Director of Societies. Visit the following link for Contact Details Link.
2. The cooperative society must write to the Director of Societies, explaining why the certificate was lost or damaged and requesting a replacement copy.
3. This request must be written on the cooperative's letterhead.
4. The Director of Societies will look through the request. A copy of the Certificate of Registration is re-issued by the director once it has been authorised.
5. After that, the applicant is notified in writing that the certificate is ready for collection.

Registered Cooperative Societies whose Certificate of Registration has been lost or damaged.

Fees

On collection of the certificate, a replacement charge of BS$20.00 is payable.
