Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. A Permit is required in order to import / export Dogs.
2. The Applicant will have to submit an Application Form to the Department of Agriculture.
3. The Applicant can download the Form through this link: Import Form Link, Export Form Link
4. After filling all the details, the applicant should submit the Application Form along with the required documents as mentioned in the required documents section of the procedure to the Department of Agriculture.
5. The Animals must be micro chipped.
6. Applicant shall pay corresponding application Fee for the permit.
7. The applicant will be given a Veterinarian Form (AGR/VS/1A Form) which must be completed by a registered veterinarian 24 hours prior to travel.
8. After inspecting the document, the applicant is issued with permit.

There is no eligibility criteria for this service.

Fees

The processing fee US $10.00 plus 12% VAT bringing the total cost to $11.20.

Validity

The Permit is valid for One Entry for One Year only from the date of issue.

Processing Time

• The processing time for application is two business days from the receipt at the processing unit.
• Applications sent via postal mail takes an average of 6-8 weeks to arrive at the processing department.
