Procedure

Apply In-Person

1. To Apply for License for Permit to Fish Farming or Aquaculture, the applicant should fill the application form and submit, along with other supporting documents mentioned in the required documents section of the procedure along with the corresponding fees to the Department of Marine Resources.
2. The Applicant can download the Form from the below link:Form Link.
3. After completing the form submit to the Department of Marine Resources.
4. The Department of Marine Resources will contact the applicant within a month for the Permit.

Required Documents

• Completed application form.
• Detailed proposal.
• Copies of passport of all persons named on the application.
• Detailed Environmental Impact Assessment of the Proposal.
• Approval from the National Economic Council where there are foreign nationals investing in the sector.
• Proof of access to the land and/or sea bed where the fish farming is to be conducted.

The applicant must possess or have access to the expertise necessary to engage in aquaculture.

Fees

• For research purposes - BS$50.00
• For commercial purposes - BS$500.00
