Apply In-Person

  1. The Applicant has to submit an application in Form 4 to the Treasury Department. Visit the following link for Contact Details Link.
  2. The Applicant can get the form from the office.
  3. Complete the application form with all details.
  4. After filling in all the details, submit the Application Form along with the supporting documents as mentioned in the “Required Documents” section to the Treasury Department.
  5. The benefit amount is being calculated and a treasurer voucher is being prepared and the cheque is produced for the outstanding pension.
  6. The Pension amount is added to the monthly pay sheet and deposited to the bank account of the applicant every month.

EligibilityEdit

  • Widows and Orphans with valid proof of claim to pension can apply.
  • The following categories of people cannot apply:
  • No widow of a contributor whose marriage with him is contracted after he has either attained the age of sixty years or left the public service and no issue of such marriage shall constitute a beneficiary become entitled to pension.
  • Where a contributor dies within twelve months of his marriage and there is no issue of such marriage, his widow shall not constitute a beneficiary for the purposes of, or become entitled to any pension.

No processing fee is required for this service.

ValidityEdit

The Pension funds are valid for life unless the widow re-marries.
