Procedure

Following are the ways through which you can apply for insecticide license in Arunachal Pradesh.

Apply In-Person:

1. To apply for the new insecticide license approach the Deputy Director of Agriculture department of your district.
2. Download the form- VI of insecticides rule 1971 from the below link Application
3. Make sure that you have all the proper documents mentioned in the “Required documents” section below.
4. Submit the form to the Deputy Director office along with the required documents. More details about the Deputy Director office location is provided in the following link DISTRICTS OF ARUNACHAL PRADESH
5. Refer the Deputy Director Office location mentioned in the “Office location & contacts” section below.
6. After the application form is processed, an enquiry officer will make a thorough verification regarding your identity proof which you have submitted along with the form, criminal records if any and some general investigations.
7. You will be receiving the acknowledgment slip after the successful verification.
8. A license with 2-year expiry period will be issued by the authority after verifying all the details submitted by the applicant.
9. Collect your license from the regional deputy commissioner’s office where you have applied after 2-3 weeks of submission.
10. After the expiry period, the applicant should follow the same procedure to renew the insecticide license.
    

Apply Online:
There is no facility to apply online instead you can download the application form by visiting the nearest Kiosk of your area to apply for insecticide license through Common Service Portal or jan Suvidha Portal.

Required Documents

Following are the list of documents that has to be enclosed along with the application form to get insecticide license

• List of products
• Principle Certificate issued by the dealer in Form-VI D.
• 2 recent passport size photographs
• Proof of Identity such as Electoral Photo Identity card / Passport / Local certificate.
• Family Identity Card.
• Description of place for the storage is carried out with sketch map.
• Description of place for where the sale depot would operate with sketch map.
• NOC of the tenant if the business is intended to be carried out on the land / building of the tenant other than the applicant
• Recent copy of the Form F of the land records where from the business is intended to be operated i.e. Sale point and /or storage
• Challan payable if approved-Rs.100/- per item (Rural) Rs. 500/- per item (Urban)

Eligibility

• Applicant should be the resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
• Any person who wants to sell or distribute insecticide can apply.

Fees

Challan payable if approved-Rs.100/- per item (Rural) Rs. 500/- per item (Urban)

Validity

License is valid only for two years from the date of issue.
