Andhra Pradesh - Online Surrender or Cancel Trade License

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents to surrender or cancel Trade License

Step 2 : To start your application process the applicant shall visit the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration website in the below link: Apply Online.

Step 3 : On the homepage, select your “District” and “Corporation/Municipality/NP” and click on the “Submit” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

Step 4 : On the new page displayed, enter “License Number”, “Application No”, “Mobile No” and “Trade Owner Name”. Click on the “Search” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

Step 5 : Your License will appear on screen. Under the “Actions” section click on the “Select from Below” drop down box highlighted in “GREEN” as shown in the below image.

Step 6 : In the list displayed, select “Closure” pointed by a “RED” arrow as shown in the below image.

Step 7 : Details of your trade license will appear on the next screen as shown in the below image.

Step 8 : Under “Processing Details” section, fill in the “Remarks” box as to the reason why you want to cancel your Trade License. Then, click on the “Save” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

Step 9 : The closure application will be reviewed by the concerned authorities and the license will be cancelled.

Step 10 : To check the status of your cancellation, revisit the Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration website. On the homepage, select your “District” and “Corporation/Municipality/NP” and click on the “Submit” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

Step 11 : On the new page displayed, enter your cancelled “License Number” or “Application No”, “Mobile No” and “Trade Owner Name” click on the “Search” button highlighted in “RED” as shown in the below image.

Step 12 : Your License will appear on screen. Under the “Status” section pointed with a “RED” arrow as shown in the image below.

Step 13 : The applicant should, within thirty days from the date of closing the establishment, notify to the officer.

Step 14 : The Officer, after receiving the information and if satisfied about its correctness will remove such establishment from the register of establishments and cancel the trade license.
