Andhra Pradesh - Online Get Concession in Train Tickets

Step 1 : First one has to make sure that all the required documents are in hand to apply online. If you would like to know about the documents that are required for this procedure, please visit the following link : Required Documents to get concession in train tickets

Step 2 : To get concession in train tickets online, the applicant has to visit the following link: Apply Online

Step 3 : When you click on a link, an “Alert” window will pop-up on your screen, which are set of guidelines. Click on “OK” button at the bottom, which is pointed out by a “GREEN” arrow in the image below.

Note: In case, you don’t find “OK” option on that window, you need to click on it and scroll down to find that option.

Step 4 : Now, you will find a page with options “LOGIN”, “REGISTER” on top left. If you are a new user, click on “REGISTER” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the below image.

Step 5 : When you click on ‘Register’, you will be taken to a page captioned “Create your account”. Here you need to enter all required details. First, enter all the details in the “Basic Details” section and select “Continue” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below.

Step 6 : Next, You will be asked to enter your personal details, here you need to fill-in the required personal details and again click on “Continue” button which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below.

Step 7 : Now, you will be taken to “Address” tab where you will be asked to enter your address details. Enter you address as asked.

Step 8 : After filling the address,Put a tick mark in the "I'm not a robot" and then scroll down and click on “REGISTER” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the image below, to end the registration process.

Step 9 : Now, an interface will be displayed on the screen with your registered details and options “OK”, “Cancel”. Select “OK” button, which is highlighted in “RED” in the image given below to proceed.

Step 10 : Once you click on ‘OK’, you will find a pop-up bubble on the right corner that you have successfully registered. Click on the page and scroll up. Follow up the instructions and click on “Click here” hyperlink which is highlighted in “YELLOW” in the image below.

Step 11 : This will take you to the page which initially appeared on your display. Here, you need to Click on “LOGIN” button which is highlighted in “GREEN” in the below image to login into your account.

Step 12 : In ‘Login Page’, enter your “User Name” and “Password”. At the bottom of the page, you need to enter “Captcha” which is highlighted in “RED” in the image below and then click on “SIGN IN” button which is pointed with “GREEN” arrow in the image given below.

Step 13 : Once you sign in, proceed by entering the journey details and select the type of concession. Three categories of concession, namely, Divyaang, Journalists and Senior Citizen are available for online booking.

Step 14 : A new window with “OK” and “Cancel” options will pop-up on your screen. Click on “OK” to confirm your booking.

Step 15 : Now choose the train and select “Check Availability and Fare” to know more details. Then select “Book Now” to continue to next page.

Step 16 : Here you need to enter the passenger details such as name, age, and type of concession you want to avail for, and then click on “Continue Booking”.

Step 17 : In this page, you can choose the preferred gateway to pay the ticket fare.

Step 18 : After doing the payment process, the page will display confirmation details and you will receive the ticket confirmation details through SMS and Email on your registered mobile number and Email address.

Step 19 : Take a print out of the ticket if required and carry your Identity card (Refer “Required Documents” section for further details) issued by the authority board for your category along with your Id proof for onboard verifications.
