Procedure[edit]
- Emirate citizens working in the private sector may apply for an Absher Card. You apply for one online through the Ministry of Labour www.mol.gov.ae.
- Click the 'Absher' from the Homepage.
- Choose registering the Emirate citizen working in the private sector.
- Enter your labour card number.
- Complete the online form and upload all the needed documents. Do not forget to read and accept the terms and conditions.
- If you have met all the criterias needed for the issuance of the card, you will be contacted by the Ministry and your card will be sent to you.
- You will need to present a valid identification before the card is released to you.

Eligibility[edit]
To be able to apply for the procedure you must:
- be an Emirate citizen
- have a labour card that is active and issued from the Ministry of Labour
- be actively working with not less than six month in one establishment, and it's calculated from the date of labour card issuance
- be registered in the General Authority for Pensions and Social Securityor Abu Dhabi Pensions and Retirement Fund
- have a minimum 3 month salary transfer through the Wages protection System (WPS)
- fulfill the registration form information and to be approved electronically
