Apply In Person:
- To Guidance To Apply for a Student Loan, the applicant has to approach the Department of Education link
- The applicant has to visit the nearest bank office.
- The bank officer will ask a few questions about what type of financial help the applicant is looking for and where will use the loan.
- After a short interview, the applicant will be asked to complete an application form.
- An application form will be provided to the applicant by the concerned officer.
- The officers will give a list of documents that the applicant will need to submit together with the application.
- Also, the necessary documents are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- While reviewing the application, banks will usually take into consideration the applicant's character, capacity to repay the loan, and ability to comply with the bank's conditions.
- To help them evaluate the application, they might ask the applicant to present some form of identification or evidence that they are currently enrolled in an educational institution.
- Then the application will be processed further. All the updates on the application status will be sent via SMS to the applicant’s mobile number.
- Once the process gets completed, the applicant gets a call from the office regarding the application.
- The applicant has to follow the instruction as per instructed by the officer.
- There is no fee for Guidance To Apply for a Student Loan.
- This entire process can be completed within 30 days or as per the timeline advised by the respective department authority.

- Some banks offer this specific type of loan to their customers. A student loan can also be obtained through a government student loan program, this may not be the case in all countries so it will be better if you will check first if a such program exists in your country.
