Apply In-Person

  1. To pay WATER bills in Nigeria visit the WATER BOARD COMMISSION in your area.
  2. The address ad contact details of the office can be found in the following link: contact link
  3. Visit the Office and Ask for the relevant department to pay water bills.
  4. Process your payment by showing your water bill and your registration number along with the card if given.
  5. Please pay the correct required amount without fail to the authority.
  6. Now when your payment is done receive your payment reference number for further reference.


Apply Online

  1. To pay water bills online, visit the link :link
  2. On the opened page click on the ‘Remita’ channel logo.
  3. Now fill all the details correctly in the respective fields.
  4. Enter the captcha correctly in the field provided and confirm you are not a robot.
  5. After completing everything, check once and click on ‘Submit’ button.
  6. Now payment page will be opened. Select the payment mode you are convenient with and proceed the process.
  7. The transaction process may take a few minutes.
  8. After successful transaction you can see the “Transaction successful” popup on your screen.
  9. And you will receive your transaction details on your registered mobile number as SMS or you may receive details as a mail.


Apply Via Bank

  1. Start by identifying a bank partnering with the water supply agencies / body in your area.
  2. Approach any branch of the identified partnering bank and make payment to any of the cashiers at the counter of the bank.
  3. After making payment, the cashier will issue a receipt that shows your payment has been received.
