Macau - Obtain a Certificate of Residence for Foreign Use

Procedure[edit]

  1. To obtain a Certificate of Residence for Foreign Use, visit a Macau SAR Identification Office.
  2. Fill up an application form. Make sure to state the reason why you need the certificate. Applicant should sign the applicant's form as on applicant’s Macau SAR Resident Identity Card. For applicants under the age of 18, one of the parents must sign on the form.
  3. Submit a completed application along with all the required documents. Application can be made by an authorized person by presenting the original and photocopy of the applicant's identity card if the applicant cannot apply in person.
  4. You may collect your certificate after 2 working days following day after the bureau has received the application and all necessary documents.

  • Completed application form, if the applicant is under the age of 18, one of the parents must sign on the form.
