Procedure[edit]
- Obtain all necessary documents.
- Proceed to the RENAP Office located at the National Hospital and submit all the required documents to register.

Required Documents[edit]
Registration of birth by the father
- Report of Birth in original and photocopy
- Neighbourhood DPI or the Certificate in original and photocopy (Father)
For single mothers
- Report of Birth in original and photocopy
- Neighbourhood DPI or the Certificate in original and photocopy (Mother)
Mother is younger than 14 years old
- Report of Birth in original and photocopy
- Recent birth certificate of the Mother
- Neighbourhood Certificate or DPI of the maternal grandparents in original and photocopy
- DPI or Neighbourhood Certificate of the respondent in original and photocopy
Mother is between 14-17 years old
- Recent birth certificate original and photocopy
- Report of Birth in original and photocopy
Mother is a foreigner
- Valid passport of the mother in original and photocopy
- If the passport is not valid, hand over a General Letter
- Report of Birth

Registration of Birth may be done at RENAP sites located in the National Hospitals.

A Birth Certificate states the name and sex of a person, it also indicate the time and place of birth, it is issued after you have registered the birth of a child and may be obtained from the civil registry office.
