Apply In-Person:
- To Transfer of a Mining Lease in Ghana, the applicant must go to the Minerals Commission Office.
- Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
- The application for the transfer of a mining lease should contain required the information and be accompanied by the required documents.
- Complete the application form with appropriate information under the relevant sections. Attest it with the applicant’s signature once completed.
- Once completed filling the application form, make sure that the applicant has attached all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Payment of appropriate fees should be made and that can be found under the "Fees" section of this page.
- Then, submit it in person to the relevant authority at the office in 3 copies along with the required documents and make payment of the required processing fees to the MINCOM.
- After submission, the application and other documents will be forwarded for examination and verification processes.
- Once the verification and validation processes are over, the application will be approved and the officials will proceed to take required steps to issue the approval for lease within 30 days.
