ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To apply for Construction Permit for Service Stations, applicant has to visit the technical affairs department at Ghana La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly office (LaNMMA).
  2. Address and contact details can be found in the following Contact link
  3. Applicants approach the LaNMMA office and applicants get their application form.
  4. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
  5. Applicant must make sure to carry both photocopies and originals of all documents are necessary for completing this procedure.
  6. The applicant has to make sure he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
  7. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per as authority’s request.
  8. Check the application form and then submit it to the permits section of the technical affairs department in the LaNMMA office.
  9. Now the authorities will verify the applicant’s application and validate the submitted documents.
  10. After verification process, the permit will be issued.
  11. The processing time is between three to five working days. This time may vary depending on the availability and correctness of the information provided.

  • Application forms ( must be signed by the owner or include an authorization from the owner)
  • Original copy of title deed and property document (recent date no more than six months).
  • For individuals: Copy of QID card.
  • For companies and institutions: Copy of commercial license.
  • Photo of the building
  • Copy of Building completion certificate or statement.
  • Engineering consulting office authorization (architectural) form.
  • All property tax for the buildings and property have been paid for the current year
  • Temporary street use permit if you demolition will disrupt traffic/ pedestrians
  • A copy of the settlement sheet or deed must be submitted with application.
