Ghana - Obtain a Post Paid Number

ProcedureEdit

Apply In-Person:

  1. To obtain a post paid Number in Ghana, the applicant must visit the National Communication Authority or Ministry of Communications. Contact link.
  2. Applicant must obtain the application form from the relevant department.
  3. The applicant has to make sure that he or she has all the required documents that are required for this process to be successful and they can be found under the "Required Documents" section of this page.
  4. Attach all the required documents to the filled form and submit them to the attending official, who will verify the documents.
  5. A fee for this procedure is has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
  6. Upon payment of the entire required application fees, the applicant will be issued the applicant’s post-paid number and if the applicant an active prepaid line it can be converted to post-paid line as per the applicant’s request.
  7. Generally, the processing time for this procedure takes immediately.

  • Any utility bill (water bill, electricity bill etc.)
  • A current bank statement
  • Recommendation letter (stamp LC letter etc.)

  • This is a number issued with a contractual billing option enabling the applicant to enjoy communicating at preferential rates conveniently. Message and talk for as long and as much as you want without worrying about recharging the applicant call credit. One receives a monthly itemized bill which is to be settled at the end of every month or depending on the contract the applicant has made with the service provider.
