Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Travel insurance in person, the applicant has to approach the National Health Insurance Authority.
2. Address and contact details can be found in the following contact link
3. Applicant must make sure to carry all the related documents that are listed under the “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals).
4. Applicant should fill-in all the necessary details in the application form.
5. Applicant should attach the photocopies of the related documents that are required for the procedure to complete along with the application form before submitting it.
6. The fee must be paid as requested by the authorities while submitting the form.
7. The application form and the attached documents will be verified by the concerned authorities.
8. It takes around two weeks for the procedure to complete and the applicant can get their Travel Insurance.
9. If the applicant didn’t get the document within two weeks, then, they can visit the office for getting information on their application.
10. The Processing time for this procedure is 2 weeks.

• A foreigner wishing to travel Ghana must buy a travel Insurance to cover all their needs while travelling to Ghana.

Fees

• Please pay as per the travel Insurance requests.
