Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. Application form for President’s Special Independence Award is available in the Ghana Scholarship secretariat. contact link
2. Applicant has to approach the Ghana scholarship secretariat and the applicants can get their application form for president special independence award.
3. Applicant has to enter all information in the application form.
4. Make sure that his/her have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. A Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per authority’s request.
6. The applicant should attach photocopies of documents (whichever is necessary) along with the applicant from while submitting it at the office.
7. If all above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their Award.
8. They can visit the office and get their Award after getting that notification.
9. The Processing time for this procedure is taken 30 days.

Since 1993, the president’s Independence Day awards celebrate pupils from each of the ten regions of Ghana, who have performed creditably in their basic education certificate examinations (BECE).
