Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To Apply for Preparation of RFPs for Procurement of Waste Management Services by Private Entities in Ghana, the applicant has to approach the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) or AYAWASO West Municipal Assembly. contact link
2. Applicant must obtain the application form from AMA or AYAWASO office.
3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
4. Applicant must make sure to carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
5. The Fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
6. If all the above mentioned procedures were followed properly by the applicant, the application form will be viewed by the concerned authorities and the applicant will be notified regarding their Development of Waste Management Plans.
7. After seeing this notification, the applicant must go to the respective office and get their certificate.
8. The processing time for this procedure is 1 month.

Note: Standard service charges are published annually in the AMA fee fixing resolution.
