Apply In Person
- To Apply for Pesticides Storage Facilities License, the applicant must go to the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) in Ghana link
- Applicant has to approach the environmental protection agency in Ghana and applicant can get their application form for Pesticides storage facilities license.
- Read through the application form carefully as it contains different section.
- Make sure that his/her have all the documents listed in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
- Please refer to the fees details in the “Fees” section of this page. Applicant will be issued with the prescribed fee invoice, visit any ECOBANK branch near you with the invoice and make the payment.
- Submit the completed forms along with the supporting documents at the EPA office for verification and processing.
- The EPA will dispatch an inspector to the facility premises for inspection to determine if Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Good Storage Practice (GSP) during storage and dispatch of product that quality control, and quality assurance of the products is practise.
- A copy of the report finding will be given to the applicant and if any modification or upgrading is required, Corrective Action and Preventive Action Report (CAPA) report will be issued and applicant will be required rectify the problem.
- Upon successful implementation of the CAPA, a follow-up inspection may be conducted by the inspection team to ascertain the effectiveness of the implementation (where applicable).
- If the authorized official is satisfied that all the conditions are meet as required for the application, applicant will be notified of the outcome and issued with the licenses.

- Valid company’s registration certificate copy
- Copy of employee relevant certificates
- Evidence of payment of the prescribe fee(bank slip)
- Copy of certificate of evidence of eia /emp (if applicable)
- Evidence of professional training in pest control (if applicable)
- Companies need to be a valid company’s registration certificate copy.
- List and type personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used.

- All Citizens/ companies/business in Ghana are eligible.

- Describe the storage and/ or display facilities for the above-named pesticides.
- Describe any other types of goods which will be stored or displayed on the same premises
- Describe safety precautions to be taken for protection of persons and public
- What disposal options do you have in place for used and/or empty containers
Need for the DocumentEdit
- No person shall use any premises, or being the owner or occupier thereof permit or allow the premises to be used, for the purposes of manufacturing, formulating, packaging, selling or storing, pest control products unless that person is in possession of a license issued under the Regulations in respect of those premises.
