The criminal record is a record of the criminal convictions of a person referenced in the National Criminal Record. The information contained in the criminal record is communicated in the form of excerpts called criminal record cards. The three types of extract are:
- the bulletin no.1 – reserved for the judicial authorities and the registries of the penitentiary establishments within the framework of the investigation of certain measures of execution of the imprisonment sentence.
- the bulletin no.2 - issued to certain administrations for specific reasons (for example, to access a job in contact with minors). Some private employers also have access for the same reasons.
- the newsletter no.3 - issued to the person concerned, or to his legal representative if he is a minor or a guardian of age. It cannot be issued to a third party.
A person may, upon written request to the district attorney of the high court of his domicile, obtain a communication of the complete record of his criminal record. No copy can be given.
Information which might helpEdit
