Procedure

Apply In-Person:

1. To reserve a Company Name, the applicant must go to the Registrar of Companies office in Fiji. Contacts
2. After deciding the Name for the Company, the applicant must visit the nearest office of Registrar of Companies office.
3. The applicant must obtain the Form A3 “Application for Reservation of A Company Name” Form from the authorities in the Registrar of Companies office.
4. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
5. The application must be filled with the necessary details.
6. The prescribed fee must paid along with the application form, which is $ 54.50.
7. The filled application form must be submitted to the officials in the Fiji’s Registrar of Companies office.
8. The authorities in the Registrar office will verify the application form.
9. If there is no other company reserved with the same name, then the application will be approved by the officials.
10. The applicant’s Company Name will be reserved for 60 days after the approval.
11. The applicant extend the reservation for another 60 days, if they apply again for reservation before the expiry date.
12. The applicant must register the company in the name they reserved before the expiry date. Otherwise, the name will be given to other applicant on request.
13. The Company Name Reservation will be approved immediately in the Fiji Registrar of Companies office.

Apply Online:
e-Profile:

1. The Company Name reservation can also be made online in Digital Fiji online portal. Online Portal
2. First, you have to enter your “Company Type” and then “Entity Name”. (Company Name Reservation)
3. After entering the details, the applicant must select the “Search” button. This option will show the other similar Company Name’s Registered in Fiji.
4. If your “Reservation Name” already exist, then it will show warning sign as “Unavailable - The name is unavailable at this point of time. Please enter another name.”
5. In this case, you have find other Unique Name for the Company.
6. If your Reservation Name is “Unique”, then it will show the option “Reserve”.
7. The applicant must select the “Reserve” button on the webpage.
8. It will take you to the “Login Via” page.
9. There will be two options available, namely, “e-Profile” and “ROC Pass”.
10. If you are a New User, then you have to create account in “e-Profile”.
11. To create the “e-Profile”, click on the “Create an Account” option under the “e-Profile” menu. Online Portal
12. On the next page, enter the “email address” and a verification link will be sent to the Email.
13. After that, the user must “Create password” and enter other information and then must select the “submit” button.
14. Later, the applicant must visit the Births, Deaths and Marriages (‘BDM’) office or the Registrar of Companies Office (ROC) with the necessary documents for your e-profile activation.
15. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
16. Then, the e-Profile will be activated. After the activation, the applicant can “Reserve the Company Name” using the “Login Credentials” on same website portal. Online Portal
17. The further details must be entered in the web page.
18. Make sure that you have all the documents that are mentioned in the “Required Documents” section of this page.
19. Then the prescribed fee must paid along with the application, which is $ 54.50.
20. If there is no other company reserved with the same name, then the application will be approved by the officials.

For Company Name Reservation:

• Photo ID of applicant with date of birth information (E.g. Passport, Voter registration card, Driver License)
• Foreign company incorporation certificate (For foreign company)
• Letter of authorization (For agents)
• Letter of authorization from business owner to reserve a similar company name (If required)

For e-Profile Creation:

• Original or certified copy of your Birth Certificate.
• Birth Registration Number.
• Valid Photo ID card.
• FNPF/FRCS Joint ID Card.
• FNPF Membership Card.

Eligibility

• Any Fiji citizens or General Public can reserve the company Name.

Fees

• Lodgement Fee - $ 54.50

Validity

• The company Name Reservation is valid for 60 days.
• This can be extended if the applicant apply once again before the expiry date. (But not more than one time extension is approved)
